The work “Driftd like warriors” interrogates how personal identity persists when subsumed by a collective force facing massive challenges. Through the metaphor of the uprising body, the piece visualizes the tension between “the team” and “the individual”. The work redefines the act of “uprising” as both a biological imperative and a psychological triumph. By confronting the audience with the visceral energy of physical struggle, it asks a vital question for our times: how does the human body overcome gravity, exhaustion, and systemic pressure to continuously arise and assert its own freedom and salvation.
